Kip Mcgrath centre in Wakefield had previously used our services to replace the Cat5e cabling within their classrooms to Cat6 B2ca after finding numerous faults with the existing infrastructure.

With a new requirement to teach students using Chromebooks and laptops, they quickly found the current wireless coverage within the 18th century building was inadequate.

After an initial wireless survey over the three floors, we found a Ubiquti solution within budget to cover the six classrooms and staff areas.

Two of our engineers completed all works and testing within a day, installing Excel cabling to the three Ubiquiti pro AP’s we pre-configured before installation. Providing full coverage throughout the building. We also found the current ISP’s connections speeds to be extremely poor for the clients needs and provided details to a ISP fibre service 60 times faster for less than half of the current cost of what they have been paying.
